I saw Made of Honor last night (April 29). GREAT MOVIE!!! I haven't seen a good love story in quite sometime, so this was a nice film to see. Patrick Dempsy did a wonderful job as did his co-star (I forget her name). Granted it was a spin off of the movie "My Best Friends Wedding" starring Julia Roberts, but was not the same in many aspects...for example Patrick Dempsy is the Brides Made of Honor - humor for even the studliest man. I wish my boyfriend was there to see it with me as it's a great date movie!!!! A must see.
Would I bring my 6 year old daughter? Yes. There is no language and the most naked anyone got was some sexy nighties which kids plainly see as a type of pajamas :)

Baby Mama
This movie is about surrogacy. Of course because I have been a surrogate and plan for another transfer this July, I just HAD to see this. My boyfriend and I won tickets and set off for the theater on April 29. The movie comes out May 2.
This movie stars Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Greg Kinnear, Dax Shepard, Sigourney Weaver and a nice surprise - Steve Martin.
After several attempts at sperm donation, Kate (Tina Fey) goes to a surrogacy group and meets the director of the center, Chaffee (Sigourney Weaver). There she is matched with a first time surrogate, Angie (Amy Poehler). Angie and her boyfriend get in a fight, thus she moves in with Kate. Kate is busy baby proofing the house and working full time for her hippie boss Barry (Steve Martin). This movie is laugh out loud funny! People were laughing through out the movie.
I feel they explained surrogacy very well and were pretty accurate on the details involved such as financial and criminal background check as well as medical history and testing. Surprisingly, Kate asked the surrogate coordinator Chaffee the same questions I get asked by strangers. Chaffee gave great responses.
Would I bring my 6 year old daughter?: Yes. There was no nudity or swearing. Probably not for a child who doesn't understand surrogacy however. I might go over there head to much.
